Ronald Champe, 69 of Beaver passed away after a brief illness on January 15, 2014.
Ron was born March 7, 1944 in Sewickley. He was the son of the late Frank D. and Flessie Champe.
He was a member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa. Ron was retired from Eat ?N- Park Corporate Office. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows with his 1965 Corvette. In addition to his love for cars his true passion was his family whom he treasured spending time with. Many wonderful memories were made on family vacations to Myrtle Beach with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Zeigler) Champe, who he shared 49 fabulous years of marriage with. (1-4-3) His devoted daughters: Kim (Jeff) Dengler and Michelle (Larry) Kiec all of Center Twp. Three grandsons who brought so much joy to their Pappy?s life: Jarin Dengler, Austin Kiec and Hunter Kiec. Ron is also survived by his two brothers and sister: Frank (Jean) Champe, Florida, Robert (Denise) Champe, Washington, PA and Patti Parrish, Florida.
At Ron?s request there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Ron?s life on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa with Pastor Michael Sourwine.
The Champe family would like to extend their grateful appreciation to Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver for the loving care that was given to each of them especially to Ron.
The family respectfully asks that no flowers are sent to the church. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Ron to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooketree Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
